DR. CAELEN WALKER, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist | Burien Clinic | she/her

Dr. Caelen Walker earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She has additional training in treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD).

Role at Pain Science PT

As a Physical Therapist at our Burien clinic, Dr. Walker focuses on one-on-one patient care, helping individuals regain function and return to the activities they value most.

Why Physical Therapy?

Dr. Walker has always had a deep interest in human biology, anatomy, and movement. Her personal experiences with physical therapy—recovering from sprained ankles in ballet, a sacroiliac joint injury in skiing, and shoulder injuries from rock climbing—gave her firsthand insight into the power of PT and inspired her career.

Approach to Care

Dr. Walker enjoys functional-based treatments that empower patients in everyday life. She approaches care with a curious mindset, emphasizing whole-person treatment rather than focusing on isolated body parts. Creativity, continual learning, and a focus on functional outcomes guide her sessions.

Patient Impact

A particularly meaningful case for Dr. Walker was working with a patient who had lived with pain for years, leading to depression. Through PT, the patient not only reduced their pain but also gained confidence and energy, transforming their outlook on life. For Dr. Walker, the ripple effect of physical therapy—helping patients re-engage with life at the level they want—is the most rewarding part of her work.

  • I hope patients and colleagues notice my creativity and commitment to learning. My favorite question to ask is: What is a win you had this week?
