Dr. Ashley Irizarry is a licensed naturopathic physician and functional medicine doctor at New Wave Medicine, where she specializes in integrative mental health, functional psychiatry, and hormone health. With extensive experience in ketamine-assisted therapy—one of the clinic’s primary specialties—Dr. Irizarry supports patients in navigating complex conditions and life transitions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, burnout, and grief. Dr. Irizarry is also deeply passionate about hormone health, particularly bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), and is dedicated to supporting both men and women through hormonal imbalances and transitions, including menopause. With advanced training in hormone health from the Institute for Functional Medicine, Dr. Irizarry offers extensive expertise in hormone balancing, equipping patients with the knowledge and tools to navigate these changes with greater confidence and ease.
Her practice is rooted in deep listening, compassion, and a respect for the body’s inherent capacity to heal.
