Do you accept insurance?
We are in-network with Regence and Premera. We are out of network with all other insurance plans.
We are not enrolled with Medicare. This means Medicare does not cover care at PSPT. However, Medicare beneficiaries may choose to receive care with us and pay privately for services.
Many patients choose to work with us outside of insurance because our model allows for longer visits, one-on-one care, and the ability to address factors that insurance-based care often limits.
If you have questions about your specific situation, our team can help clarify options.

Do you provide Superbills?
For patients who are out of network with their insurance, we can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill may be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.
We do not provide superbills for patients with Medicare or Medicare Advantage plans because we are not enrolled with medicare.
Coverage and reimbursement vary by insurer, and we recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to understand your benefits.

Why don’t you accept most insurance plans?
Insurance systems are designed to prioritize volume, standardization, and short visits.
For people with persistent pain, this often limits:
- Time to fully understand history and context
- Assessment of pain processing and nervous system sensitivity
- Education around pain, movement, sleep, and stress
- Thoughtful, individualized care
How much does care cost?
Care at PSPT is individualized. Fees depend on visit length, complexity, and goals.
Rather than listing prices without context, we prefer to discuss costs directly so we can:
- Explain options
- Answer questions
- Help determine whether this approach is the right fit
Why choose this approach instead of going in-network?
In-network care can work well for short-term or straightforward conditions.
People often seek care at PSPT after:
This model is not right for everyone — and that’s okay.
- Trying multiple providers without lasting improvement
- Feeling rushed or unheard
- Being told imaging does not explain their pain
- Wanting a deeper understanding of what is happening
This model is not right for everyone — and that’s okay.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth may be appropriate for some or all visits depending on needs and goals. This should be discussed during the initial conversation to determine whether virtual care is a good fit.
What if I was in a car accident?
If you are seeking treatment after a car accident, have your claim information ready when you call. We’ll check that you have PIP (Personal Injury Protection) before scheduling.
Note: We do not accept third-party payments.

I had a work injury-can I come see you?
Yes! For workman’s compensation claims, please have your claim number, adjuster’s name, and phone number ready when you call to make your first appointment. We’ll verify your claim and contact you to schedule your visit.
